EJS New York was chosen as the basis of design to provide The Beacon School with a new HVAC system. The building, previously used as a book warehouse for the New York Public Library, was renovated into a state-of-the-art 7-story high school. The school building includes new classrooms and laboratories, a film studio, theater and music suite.
EJS equipped the facility with 12 Innovent Dedicated Outside Air Units and 2 Innovent Air Handling Units. The systems will provide The Beacon School with a high quality and energy efficient air conditioning solution while minimizing operating costs and reducing equipment load requirements.
