When Resorts World Casino decided to build a new hotel under its expansion plan, we were tasked to provide a boiler plant to supply hot water for the entire casino complex.
Our team worked closely with Cosentini Associates, Epsilon Industries, Perkins Eastman and Plaza Construction and provided a packaged boiler plant housing 5 Lochinvar condensing hot water boilers rated at 5000MBH and providing 330GPM water flow each. Capitalizing on the advantages of offsite construction, we were able to deliver this plant on time with minimal onsite traffic.
Additionally, acoustics were a priority for great guest experience, so we put in a double-wall acoustical enclosure rated with sound attenuation across eight octave bands. We also made this plant future-proof, with an extra access and piping for an additional boiler, ready for the potential load increase down the road!
