It’s never too late to embrace a whole new level of energy efficiency! This MSKCC hospital building in east Manhattan was using an outdated steam heating system that was subjected to significant waste of energy, high maintenance cost and dangerous hot steam leaks. That is where we stepped in and converted it into a hot water heating system.
We worked with Epsilon Industries, Lizardos Engineering Associates D.P.C., World Energy Innovations, LLC and provided a prefabricated boiler plant that runs hot water throughout the building’s heating pipework, bringing considerably higher energy efficiency, operation safety, faster response times, ease of maintenance and precise control of water temperature and flow. The prefabrication approach also allowed us to save on project schedule and increase installation flexibility while ensuring project quality.
Understanding how critical HVAC is to healthcare facilities, we carefully designed this system to make sure the equipment can not only meet performance goals, but also provide maximum level of reliability and durability.
