Launched in 2020, the Marcus Garvey Extension program aims to bring more affordable housing, community facilities, and commercial spaces to Brownsville, Brooklyn. The first phase of the project saw the completion of Buildings B and D on Livonia Avenue, two of the seven new structures planned under the initiative.
For these two all-electric buildings, we supplied a total of 220 Omega vertical stacked heat pumps ranging from 3/4-ton to 2-ton. In addition to quiet operation and exceptional efficiency, each unit is also equipped with a geothermal condenser water package that seamlessly ties into the buildings’ closed-loop geothermal systems, creating a lower operational carbon footprint.
