Peakpoint Flatiron Surgical Center has recently retrofitted an existing space into a surgical center specializing in otolaryngology and ophthalmology, and our team was tasked to provide a solution to ensure all the new operating rooms meet stringent air conditioning goals.
Because of the tight space constraints, installation flexibility was also a priority. The final solution is 2 modular Jetson water-cooled chillers and 1 Haakon Industries Ltd. knockdown air handling unit. The modular chillers were easily sent into the space, and the Haakon knockdown unit was field-assembled in three days.
