After more than a decade of planning and almost 4 years of construction, Northwell Health`s brand-new Petrocelli Surgical Pavilion is now ready to unlock its full potential and provide the most complex cardiac, neurosurgery, and transplant programs to Long Island and surrounding areas.
The 7-story, 288,000 sqft pavilion features 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms(ORs), including 3 hybrid rooms with advanced imaging, along with 132 intensive care rooms(ICUs).
We are proud to be part of this meaningful project by providing 6 Haakon custom AHUs featuring Q-PAC ECM fan arrays, HEPA final filters, UV lights, energy wheels and much more that ensure sufficient system redundancy, excellent IAQ, and robust build quality. All fan systems also offer BACnet interface for real-time speed, CFM, power consumption monitoring, and system control.
It is an absolute thrill seeing everything on this project welded into solid reality right in front of our eyes. Thank you to our partners at Anron Mechanical, BR+A Consulting Engineers(@brplusa), and Skanska(@skanskagroup) for their support on this project!

Newly built in 2022, One Bellslip is a 30-story residential tower encompassing 414 premium units at the historic Greenpoint Landing in Brooklyn.
Our team provided 500 Omega vertical stacked heat pumps to meet its air conditioning goals. With tonnages from 3/4-ton to 2-ton, these units were flexibly applied throughout building based on different loads, delivering excellent climate control that helps define a healthy and brisk lifestyle in the tower.

As a part of NYUโs Chemical Biology Initiative that aims to develop expertise on multiple medical forefronts, the renovation of NYU`s historical
Silver Center consists of a complete rebuild of its laboratory space along with a dedicated HVAC system.
We provided 1 Haakon custom air handling unit, 2 Innovent rooftop units, and also - 3 Plasticair high plume dilution fans to safely discharge the exhaust from the labs. Each fan, rated at 100HP, is built with spark-resistant fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and comes with its own VFD. The patented nozzle design also helps draw in more ambient air to increase discharge momentum, ensuring a safe discharge distance above the roof while further diluting the exhaust.
