After more than a decade of planning and almost 4 years of construction, Northwell Health’s brand-new Petrocelli Surgical Pavilion is now ready to unlock its full potential and provide the most complex cardiac, neurosurgery, and transplant programs to Long Island and surrounding areas.
The 7-story, 288,000 sqft pavilion features 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms (ORs), including 3 hybrid rooms with advanced imaging, along with 132 intensive care rooms (ICUs).
We are proud to be part of this meaningful project by providing 6 Haakon custom AHUs featuring Q-PAC ECM fan arrays, HEPA final filters, UV lights, energy wheels and much more that ensure sufficient system redundancy, excellent IAQ and robust build quality. All fan systems also offer BACnet interface for real-time speed, CFM, power consumption monitoring and control. This job started back in 2019, and now we can’t be more thrilled seeing everything finally welded into solid reality, right in front of our eyes.
