Yotel NYC is a capsule hotel located in the 1.2 million square foot MiMa development at the corner of 42nd Street and 10th Avenue. With acoustic performance being a priority for its 669 compact yet comfy cabins, EJS installed 700 Omega Vertical-Stacked Water-Source Heat Pumps, which typically operate at low compressor and fan speeds, resulting in quieter operation, very low energy consumption, and uniform air temperatures. The use of these efficient heat pumps helped the building get Silver LEED certification as well.
