When NYU Lutheran Hospital needed to replace their aging chiller in a very short amount of time, there was no better option than a prefabricated chiller plant.
We worked closely with Epsilon Industries and delivered this prefabricated plant housing three 950-ton chillers. As the whole plant was built and tested directly in factory, we were able to effectively expedite the manufacturing schedule to meet the hospital’s expectation. Also, these chillers rock with wide operation range, exceptional efficiency and quiet operating sound – ready to demonstrate air conditioning capabilities at a whole new level.
On another note, rigging this whole plant in just 8 hours is a true feat – and really shows the advantages of offsite construction. Huge thanks to Lendlease, Batska, Nelson, Skylift & all the other teams involved!
